Editor’s Desk – February 2025

February is here, love is in the air, and Voice of RID 3233 is feeling the romance!
Welcome to the eighth issue—where we take love beyond chocolates and roses and sprinkle it across leadership, learning, and even construction (yes, really).
Leading the way, DG Bothraji brings his signature wit and wisdom to the theme of love and leadership. If you’ve ever wondered how the two are connected, trust me, this is a must-read.
Every month, we feature a Past District Governor, but this time, we’re playing Cupid with the future. DGE D Devendran shares his inspiring journey in “The Making of a DG.” His insights, along with contributions from his incoming district officers, presidents, and even his brother, make this issue a true family affair.
And if you think love is just about hearts and poetry, think again! This issue takes love from Six Sigma (you read that right!) to building walls, from home buying to taking a holy dip at the Maha Kumbh, and even to strokes of genius in art and paintings.
As always, Team Praanha has worked its magic with stunning layouts, while our wordsmith-in-residence, Raji, has proofread her way through the midnight oil—this time, scented with lavender for extra Valentine’s charm. And because no love story is complete without a little Gen Z flair, yours truly has prepared a crash course in modern romance vocabulary.
So, buckle up, Rotarians—this issue is a wild, love-filled ride that you won’t want to miss!
Yours in service and love,
Rtn. Sashikumar VS
